This drawing came out of the first modeling session I'd ever had to handle on my own.
I had to arrange the lighting, the platform, the sheets, props, etc... as well as discuss a brief set of poses with the model, all while trying to act natural and pretending like I'd done it a hundred times.
It ended up going really well; she was very easy to work with and nailed all the poses, giving me some great photo references to work off of.
I loved the whole experience; it marked the first time I felt like a real professional. As a bonus, the drawing also won an award in the student art show! Charcoal, 2010.
